FAQs Will I need to have practised yoga before? No you can start any time in any class, we do recommend however that you commence with a beginner's course. If that isn't possible all the classes are designed for students at all levels. What do I bring? A blanket or cover for relaxation, some water and your own mat if you have one. There are mats available, however it is preferable to have your own for health reasons. (Mats are available for purchase) What do I wear? Comfortable clothes such as a tracksuit or gym pants, Can I eat before class? It is recommended that you do not eat a large meal two hours prior to class - a small snack is preferable. I have back or neck pain and I am not flexible - will Yoga help? Everyone has some restrictions in the body. The more you practise the more you will increase your flexibility and your pain will reduce. All practises are taught in a safe environment. If you have any concerns about your health please speak with Cathie before you commence. What if I am pregnant? Great! Yoga for pregnancy is very beneficial. If you have not practised Yoga before it is best to attend the Pre-natal class. If this is not possible you may be able to attend a beginners level. Please speak with Cathie if you have any concerns. |
