FAQs Will I need to have practised yoga before? No you can start any time in any class, we do recommend however that you commence with a beginner's course. If that isn't possible all the classes are designed for students at all levels. What do I bring? A blanket or cover for relaxation, some water and your own mat if you have one. There are mats available, however it is preferable to have your own for health reasons. (Mats are available for purchase) What do I wear? Comfortable clothes such as a tracksuit or gym pants, dress in layers in the cooler months. It is also recommended that you do not eat 2hrs prior to the class Helpful information? * mobile phones are to be switched off during classes. * pre-paid classes expiry within 6 and 12 weeks and are non refunderable or transferable. * we want your time spent with us enjoyable and as beneficial as possible and therefore value your feedback in any way. * please respect those in the class if you arrive late, enter the room quietly or wait until the class commences before entering the room. * yoga is an individual practice and talking in class is not in line with deveoping awareness unless you are comunicating with the teacher please refrain from talking until after class. I have back or neck pain and I am not flexible - will Yoga help? Everyone has some restrictions in the body. The more you practise the more you will increase your flexibility and your pain will reduce. All practises are taught in a safe environment. If you have any concerns about your health please speak with Cathie before you commence. Alternatively book into our new Back care course. What if I am pregnant? Great! Yoga for pregnancy is very beneficial. If you have not practised Yoga before it is best to attend the Pre-natal class. If this is not possible you may be able to attend a beginners level. Please speak with Cathie if you have any concerns. |
