Physically it enhances flexibility, strength, co-ordination and body awareness, promoting self-discipline, concentration, relaxation and inner strength, incorporating important breathing techniques (pranayama), to reduce stress and channel emotions in a positive way.

Meditation, relaxation and visualisation is practised. By using mindfulness during classes we become more able to deal with the stresses of the outside world as well as the inner world.

What can yoga do for you?
Its aim is to restore, rejuvenate and re-unite the physical body with the internal source known as soul, spirit or nature.
The body has its own unique healing system. Through the Yoga practices the bodies energy lines known as nadis are activated
and balanced.  This then encourages the body to begin transforming to perfect health and harmony.
Meditation and mindfulness are important in understanding the obstacles of the mind and how we can overcome these
obstacles by oberservation and the understanding of who we are.
Once you have established an on-going practice you will acheive the following.

~increases energy levels
~reduces fatigue
~builds self esteem
~releases muscle tension
~creates a positive mental outlook
~manages anxiety & depression
~heightens your awareness of self and others
~builds a healthy immune system
~ increases youthfulness and vitality
