FAQs
WILL I NEED TO HAVE PRACTISED YOGA BEFORE?
No, you can start a class anytime.
all the classes are designed for students at all levels.
WHAT DO I BRING TO CLASS?
A blanket or cover for relaxation, some water and your own mat if you have one.
There are mats available, however it is preferable to have your own for hygiene reasons.
For workshops and retreats, please bring your own mat, two thick blankets and a shawl/light cover to all Workshops and Retreats.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Comfortable clothes such as a tracksuit or gym pants, dress in layers in the cooler months.
It is also recommended that you do not eat 2 hours prior to the class.
I HAVE BACK OR NECK PAIN AND I'M NOT FLEXIBLE, WILL YOGA HELP?
Everyone has some restrictions in the body. The more you practice the more you will increase your flexibility and your pain will reduce. All practices are taught in a safe environment. If you have any concerns about your health, please speak with Cathie before you commence. Alternatively, book into our new Back Care course.
WHAT IF I'M PREGNANT?
Great! Yoga for pregnancy is very beneficial. If you have not practised Yoga before, it is best to attend the Prenatal class. If this is not possible, you may be able to attend at beginner's level. Please speak with Cathie if you have any concerns.
We want your time spent with us to be enjoyable and as beneficial as possible, we therefore value all and any feedback.
If you have further questions, please contact me so I can answer personally and also add to this page to help others.
