About The Event

Have you felt drawn to learn and discover more about Restorative Yoga from a both practical and science based platform?  Are you a Yoga teacher, student, meditation teacher or a therapist that assists with Stress and embodied practices.  This one day workshop is the Introduction of what Restorative Yoga Practices are, how and when to apply them, science of Embodiment and understanding the stress response, and the relaxation response as to cultivate changes in both the Mind and Body.

The hours attended can be used towards completing the full course or you can use as Professional Development or as a general interest in the Practice and Delivery of Restorative Yoga.

Subjects to be presented:-

History and foundation of Restorative Yoga.


Understanding the Stress Response

From Hyperarousal to Deep Relaxation - How to restore Parasympathetic Balance.

Basic Use of Props

Discovering Restorative Yoga Practices

Sharing Restorative and Embodied Practices. - Becoming a facilitator for groups and individuals.

The other 2 days will be practical setting up , learning to teach, lots of practice, everyone loves this course because they get to really relax and know what that feels like.
