About The Event

Restorative Yoga - Foundations - 22/30 Hours

Open to all Mind Body Practitioners, Massage Therapists, Yoga Teachers, Counsellors, Nurses and the general public.

Restorative yoga is a deeply relaxing and revitalizing practice that encourages rest and resets the bodymind and spirit.

Deep relaxation is achieved when the body feels it is in a nurturing and supportive environment. To create this environment restorative yoga uses Yoga Props and a soothing atmosphere that helps the body release stress.

Restorative Yoga is a powerful practice that has profound healing potential which aids in reducing stress. This two-and-a-half-day course explores the fundamental Restorative Yoga & Relaxation practices that assist with stress, burn out and fatigue which often leads to anxiety and depression. The course will include practical and diverse training. You will learn breath practices for anxiety and depression, self enquiry and healing.

On completion you will be able to deliver/teach up to a 90min session in Restorative Yoga along with basic relaxation. You can use all of tools delivered in this training to a group or administer them one on one. This training includes a Manual.

CPD Points are appointed for Yoga Teachers. It incorporates theory and practical and is left open for further study and enquiry to a Restorative Lifestyle.

  • This course is now approved by Yoga Australia for APD.
  • Yoga Teachers can be confident in knowing that the course has the approval of Yoga Australia for Approved Professional Development (APD). This ensures that teachers can access quality professional development training and meet Yoga Australia’s quality standards while increasing their training hours from 200 - 500 hours.

30 hours over 3 days. Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 9am-5.30pm (may be subject to change)

To complete the full 50 hour course, you will be required to complete the Yoga Nidra + Breath T Training 16/20 Hours. This can be completed in any order or time frame.
