About The Event

Restorative Yoga - Foundations - 22/30 Hours - Now live online for April/May 2020

Open to all Mind Body Practitioners, Massage Therapists, Yoga Teachers, Counsellors, Nurses and the general public.

Restorative Yoga is a powerful practice that has profound healing potential which aids in reducing stress. This three day course explores the fundamental Restorative Yoga & Relaxation practices that assist with ongoing tension & stress in the body which often leads to physical, mental and emotional health problems . The course will include practical and diverse training. You will learn breath practices for lifting the bodies energies and also to bring calm and tranquility through the 8 fold path of Yoga and other wellbeing portals.

On completion you will be able to deliver/teach up to a 90min session in Restorative Yoga along with basic relaxation. You can use all of tools delivered in this training to a group or administer them one on one or you can integrate into your Therapy or general Yoga, Pilates or fitness class. This training includes a Manual.

CPD Points are appointed for Yoga Teachers. It incorporates theory and practical and is left open for further study and enquiry to a Restorative Lifestyle.

  • This course is now approved by Yoga Australia for APD. 
  • Yoga Teachers can be confident in knowing that the course has the approval of Yoga Australia for Approved Professional Development (APD). This ensures that teachers can access quality professional development training and meet Yoga Australia’s quality standards while increasing their training hours from 200 - 500 hours.

30 hours over 3 days. Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 8.30am-5.30pm (may be subject to change)

To complete the full 50 hour course, you will be required to complete the Yoga Nidra + Breath T Training 16/20 Hours. This can be completed in any order or time frame.
