About The Event
When the rest and digest response is activated, the breath and heart rate slow down. The body is able to focus on digestion—extracting and metabolizing food nutrients along with clearing stagnant emotional residues. The bodies various organs of elimination are also active in this state, allowing the body to process and release.
We hold emotional tension in our abdomen, and both our breathing and digestion suffer, our energy become depleted..
The vagus Nerve our ( "calm you down nerve") enters into these organs and when we are stressed they give a signal back to the brain to hold on.
This set of practices will include releasing tension, settling the knots in the stomach and activating energy to flow down to feel safe and secure and upward to bring positivity and refreshment to the mind.
