About The Event

As a teacher or therapist we are evolving into a new era.  One that supports a more feeling sense.  A life towards meaning rather than striving, our students and clients are calling out for integrative tools that will have long lasting effects and can be implemented anywhere.

We can no longer survive with Nervous Systems on alert, as supports of Body based practices the importance of developing and adding onto our skills is vital.

Embodied practices evolve your brain. Research has shown mindfulness and embodied-based programs lead to structural brain changes in both the brain and the bodies feeling responses.

Changing the brain from the bottom up (i.e. working through the body and senses to  change the brain and enhance the size of the insula. This ‘felt-sense’ part of the brain is crucial for interoception, insight, coping, ability, empathy and compassion).

The First session you will learn practical ways to incorporate straps into your Yin or Yoga or Restorative Practices to make Asanas more accessable.

The Second session will incorporate:-

The senses

Proprioreciptors and Interoception

Foundation of embodied practices.

Relaxation Responses using guided relaxation and Yoga Nidra
