Spirit of Rest
When we rest deeply without and Physical, Mental or emotional disturbances we arrive within the Spirit of peace,
calm , clarity and love. Spirit of Rest Restorative Yoga classes and programs are rich in Yoga Therapy. A compilation of Warmth, Support, Breath, and stillness practices that both balance and restore the nervous system to reduce the effects of Stress and Trauma, nourishing all of the bodies organs and systems to communicate in a healthy way.
A deeply nourishing practice that offers the body, heart and mind a respite from the day-to-day
obligations and responsibilities.
Integrating the use props to support the body in classical Yoga postures while awareness is drawn to intentional
breath through simple breathing practices and guided relaxation to increase their therapeutic effect.
Class content may include gentle heart-openers, twists, forward folds and inversions. Meditation and Visualization are also a key component to this enriching practice that calls you to come back for more.
